Bulkbag Containers Ltd, origins date back to 1984, service a broad customer base, producing FIBCs to carry foodstuff, aggregates, recyclables, chemicals, pharmaceuticals through to hazardous goods within the U.N. Dangerous Goods category. We also supply a diverse range of products utilizing and complimenting our heavy industrial sewing expertise.
Our manufacturing and distribution is based in Dundee, Scotland, with additional production available through our European and Asian partners.
Who are we?
We are a family run business established in 1984, initially set up serving the SUB SEA industry manufacturing pipeline support bags / fabric formworks, and in the same year utilizing the industrial sewing expertise we moved into Bulkbag manufacture. We have both the work force and the pioneering technical experience from Pail Containers Ltd and Bulkbag Ltd.
What do we do?
We are heavy industrial sewing specialists and through this experience we branched into the manufacture and development of Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBCs). We have over 25 years experience in this industry.
FIBCs, also known as Bulkbags, flexible containers, big bags, tote bags, polyprop bags, tonne bags, compactor bags are made from woven polypropylene and are designed to hold large quantities of products up to 2000kg. All the FIBCs we supply comply with EFIBCA Standard and BSEN 1898:2001. We can supply whatever size and style of bag you require. Our normal UK manufacture lead time is 7 to 10 days - where you can't weight for imported bags or for your unpredictable orders or short production runs.
For forward orders we can supply you, with a quality product which you can rely on, from one of our Overseas manufacturers with normal lead times of 10 to 12 weeks.
